The coldest NFL game of the year might be taking place on Sunday afternoon.
The Green Bay Packers are set to host the Minnesota Vikings in an NFC North divisional game at Lambeau Field this Sunday afternoon.
According to the latest weather forecast, it’s set to be an extremely cold one on Sunday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Packers and the Vikings are set to kick off at 8:20 p.m. E.T.

- High of three degrees
- A “real feel” of negative eight degrees
- No possibility of precipitation
Thankfully for the players, no snow or freezing rain is in the forecast, but it’s still going to be a pretty brutal night in Green Bay.
The Packers, 12-3 on the season, are fighting for top seed contention in the NFC. The Vikings, meanwhile, are 7-8 on the year, fighting for one of the final playoff spots.
Whatever team handles the cold best should come out on top on Sunday night.
