The Green Bay Packers added three new defensive players for coordinator Jeff Hafley in the top 100 selections of Chad Reuter’s three-round mock draft at NFL.com.
How does adding a 20-year-old edge rusher, a long, playmaking cornerback and a disruptive defensive lineman sound?
Here’s a quick look at the picks Reuter made for the Packers:
First round, No. 23 overall: Edge rusher Mykel Williams, Georgia
Mykel Williams took over in the fourth quarter against Texas. You know you’re getting a plus run defender, you just have to hope he figures out the pass rush. pic.twitter.com/v26HMlOkZ0

Height: 6-5
Weight: 265
From Reuter: “Williams could go earlier in the draft. An exceptional NFL Scouting Combine workout would help in that regard, like it did for former Georgia lineman Travon Walker. However, the Packers would undoubtedly love it if the powerful pass rusher were still available at No. 23. Edge rushers Jermaine Johnson II, George Karlaftis and Greg Rousseau were picked in this range in recent years.”
Breakdown: Williams ranks as Daniel Jeremiah’s No. 16 overall player, so getting a high upside prospect with elite physical ability at a premium position would be a huge win for the Packers, who are picking towards the end of the first round. Adding to the pass-rush is a priority after a disappointing season disrupting the passer in 2024. Williams is only 20 years old and was a dominant run defender in the SEC. He’s coming off an ankle injury that limited him in 2024.
Second round, No. 54 overall: CB Shavon Revel, East Carolina
Keep an eye on East Carolina’s Shavon Revel Jr. as a possible Day 2 addition to the #Packers CB room.
Revel is a physical and efficient tackler with the necessary length, athleticism, and competitive toughness to be a troubling matchup for opposing wide receivers. pic.twitter.com/VxeRHUBlTT

Height: 6-2
Weight: 200
Breakdown: The Packers need to add competition at cornerback regardless of Jaire Alexander’s roster status. Revel has impressive length at 6-2, and some see him as a first-round talent despite coming off an ACL injury in 2024. In 2023, Revel allowed only 19 catches on 43 targets into his coverage.
Third round, No. 87 overall: DL Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee
Omarr Norman-Lott is a jolt of lightning at DT.
He’s 6’2, 295lbs with a quick get-off, high motor, and is incredibly productive as an pass rusher. 18.9% pass rush win rate with 10 sacks and 43 pressures in the last two seasons.

Height: 6-2
Weight: 295
Breakdown: The Packers need more disruption up front on defense. Norman-Lott doesn’t have elite size and wasn’t a starter for the Vols, but he still produced 10 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks over the last two seasons. His pass-rush win rate in 2024 was 18.9 percent, and he created 27 pressures despite playing under 200 pass-rushing snaps. Dane Brugler ranks Norman-Lott as his No. 78 overall player.
