Will the Packers put a beatdown on the Bears this weekend?
When the Green Bay Packers take the field on Sunday afternoon against the Chicago Bears in the teams’ 2024 regular season finale, they will be favored by double digits once again. The line currently sits at Packers -10.5, making it the second time in three weeks with a double-digit line as they carried a -14 line into their game against the New Orleans Saints two weeks ago.
The Packers covered in that last game, dominating the Saints 34-0. And in fact, the Packers covered in five straight games from week 12 to week 16, only breaking that streak a week ago when the Vikings covered a 1.5-point spread with a 27-25 win.
In total, Matt LaFleur-led Packers teams have been favored by at least ten points eight times since 2019. They are 8-0 straight-up in those games, but failed to cover the first three such contests (all in 2019 and 2020). The five games since, however, have all been covers by the Packers, consisting of all three home divisional games in 2021, the home opener against the Bears in 2022, and the Saints game two weeks ago.
Green Bay will look to continue that streak on Sunday. Here are our picks for that game and all of the other games across the NFL this weekend.
