Green Bay Packers personnel executive Jon-Eric Sullivan is in demand during this general manager hiring cycle in the NFL. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Las Vegas Raiders requested to interview Sullivan for the team’s open general manager job.
Sullivan has already interviewed or been requested to interview by the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets. He is expected to get a second interview with the Titans.
Sullivan has been the vice president of player personnel under Brian Gutekunst since 2022 and has been in Green Bay as a scout or executive sicne 2008.
With eight seasons as a college area scout and nine seasons as a personnel executive under Gutekunst and Ted Thompson, Sullivan might be ready to run his own team. At the very least, NFL teams are interested in finding out if he’s ready.
In 2012, the Raiders hired Reggie McKenzie away from the Packers, and McKenzie helped the franchise get to 12-4 in 2016 before he was eventually fired in 2018.
