All the highs and lows from the Packers’ Wild Card trip to Philadelphia.
The 7 seed Green Bay Packers traveled to take on the 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles, and brother, what an ugly game. Despite devastating injuries to key players on the Packers, they kept themselves in it until the end, and ultimately fell to the Eagles, 22-10. Check out the highlights and lowlights from the Packers’ final game of the 2024 season.
In his first game since being named a First Team All-Pro safety, Xavier McKinney leads the defense out of the tunnel

The Packers haven’t had a First Team All-Pro safety in a very long time (we won’t talk about the last guy who had this honor, because he’s a terrible person). Xavier McKinney is leading a new era in Green Bay.

Oren Burks burns the Packers with a big hit on Keisean Nixon, forcing a fumble which the Eagles recover. The Eagles would quickly go on to score with a Jahan Dotson TD. 7-0, Eagles up.

Bullard has been hot and cold during his first NFL season, but today he makes a much needed stop, and the Packers offense gets another shot. What do they do with this shot, you ask? Absolutely nothing.

The Packers offense just can’t get it going, and Jordan Love gives the ball right back to Philly on an attempt at a big throw to Dontayvion Wicks.
The Packers can do the tush push too!

After this successful pickup on 3rd and 1, Tucker Kraft does it yet again as the Packers try to get into scoring position. The drive ends with a missed 38-yard FG attempt by Brandon McManus.

Jordan Love just did not see Zack Baun here, and Baun picks him off. Luckily for the Packers, the ensuing Eagles drive ends with a punt.
After chasing Jalen Hurts throughout the first half, Rashan Gary finally gets him as the second half begins

The whole first half consisted of me yelling at my TV “RASHAN, GET HIM!!!”, and he finally does. The Eagles go on to punt, and the Packers offense once again gets a chance to get back in the game.

Dontayvion Wicks gives the Packers the huge play they need by making the perfect adjustment and making the catch. This is why I just can’t quit you, Dontayvion. After a devastating injury to Romeo Doubs which put the game on hold for several minutes, the Packers end up with a field goal, and are down 10-3.

Carrington Valentine looked like a small child trying to tackle an adult on this touchdown by Dallas Goedert. It happens to the best of us, I suppose. The Eagles miss the XP attempt, and lead 16-3.
JOSH JACOBS IS A GROWN MAN

Josh Jacobs has the run of the game, and nearly rumbles into the endzone for the score. He is marked just short of the goal line after a review shows his knee hit the ground, but WHAT AN EFFORT! The very next play, Jacobs runs it in, and suddenly, the Packers are only down 16-10. We’ve got a game, folks.
JUST KIDDING. After a host of injuries to both teams, the Eagles pull away with a FG with 3:12 left on the clock. With the Packers down two scores, they end up not being able to get it together. Their season is over. 2025, here we come.
