It’s gonna be hard to blow this one…
At the half, the Green Bay Packers are up 24-3 against the Miami Dolphins. Despite quarterback Tua Tagovailoa only having five incompletions, the majority of them came on deep to intermediate throws — very different from the 14 passes that the Dolphins quarterback actually completed. It doesn’t help, either, that Miami has only ran the ball seven times for 14 yards, two carries and six yards who were also rushed by Tagovailoa on scrambles.
Meanwhile, Packers quarterback Jordan Love posted a 133.6 passer rating in the first half on 15 throws, including two touchdown passes to receiver Jayden Reed. On the ground, four Green Bay ball-carriers have rushed for at least 20 yards — totaling 16 carries for 102 yards and a Josh Jacobs score.
The Packers have been able to post six tackles for losses in the first half, including two from defensive end Lukas Van Ness, who has been heating up in recent weeks. Both Van Ness and Kingsley Enagbare have recorded sacks on Tagovailoa, which came on back-to-back plays.
