Join us as the Packers try to get right coming out of their bye week.
The Green Bay Packers are off to a slow start coming out of their bye week, as they trail the Chicago Bears 10-7 at halftime of the teams’ week 11 game at Soldier Field. The Packers put up a dominant drive to start the game, driving straight down the field and finding paydirt with a 15-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Jayden Reed.
But the offense failed to convert on a long drive in the second quarter, as Love turned the football over yet again. After taking more than seven minutes off the clock, Love sailed a throw over the head of a wide-open Tucker Kraft and was picked off at the goal line, leaving the Packers wanting.
Green Bay’s defense then allowed the Bears to drive down the field and score their first touchdown in three weeks, giving up a 13-play, 76 yard drive to effectively end the half and send the Bears into halftime with a lead. Chicago will get the ball to start the second half as well, with a chance to extend their advantage.
Keep it locked here at Acme Packing Company as we see if the Packers can turn their performance around in the second half.
