The Packers ran the ball pretty well. The running backs finished with 107 yards on 21 carries, good for a 5.1-yard average. The running backs gained 37 yards on 10 carries in the first half with a long of 8. Aaron Rodgers generally had plenty of time to throw. He was hit just four times during the game and was not sacked, though his injured toe was stepped on twice. Rodgers finished with 3 touchdown passes, no interceptions, and a 115.5 passer rating.
After getting good production from the tight ends lately, against the Browns the tight ends only managed 7 receiving yards on 6 targets and 4 receptions. Adams gained 114 yards and 2 touchdowns on 10 receptions and 14 targets. Lazard chipped in 34 yards on 2 receptions and 5 targets, including a touchdown reception that showed great effort.
The Packers scored touchdowns on all 3 red zone trips in the first half. They converted 3 of 6 third downs in the first half and scored touchdowns on three of their five first-half possessions. The Packers scored once (a field goal) on their four possessions in the second half, punting the other three times. They did not convert any of their four third-down opportunities in the second half. The Packers for the game converted 3 out of 10 on third down.
After scoring a field goal on their first possession of the second half, the Packers got the ball back up 24 to 15. St. Brown got blown up on an end around for minus 10 and two incompletions later the Packers punted. On their next possession, the Packers ran Aaron Jones three straight times but he gained only 7 yards, leading to another punt. On their next (fourth) possession of the second half, a 7-yard completion and a run by Dillon up the middle for 6 yards got a first down, but that was followed by three straight incompletions and a punt, though the third incompletion was a drop by Davante Adams that would have been good for a first down with 2 minutes and 14 seconds left in the game.

The Browns’ running backs ran the ball 8 times for 69 yards in the first half. Baker Mayfield completed 11 of 16 (68.75%) of his passes for 146 yards (9.1-yards per attempt), but he threw three interceptions. The Packers seemed particularly susceptible to runs geared toward the edges, though they gained yards up the middle as well. The Packers played 2.56 true defensive linemen per play on average but that did not apparently help.
Their running backs ran wild in the second half, gaining 139 yards on 15 carrier for a 9.12-yard average. Mayfield added two rushes for 11 yards. The Browns finished with 219 yards on 25 rushes, an 8.8-yard average. However, in the second half Mayfield completed just 10 of 20 passes for a measly 76 yards, with one touchdown and a final, back-breaking, interception. Their running backs had 71 receiving yards on 5 receptions and 7 targets.
The Packers did hit Mayfield six times including 5 sacks. Rashan Gary led the way with 3 quarterback hits and 2 sacks, with Preston Smith, Dean Lowry, and Tipa Gileai each adding one sack. Preston Smith got his 8th sack; he has now earned $1.25 million in incentives for his sacks. If he records two more sacks in the next two regular season games, he could earn $750,000 more.
Rasul Douglas had 2 interceptions. He was physical all game and had 3 tackles plus 2 more tackles on special teams. Darnell Savage had an interception in an up and down performance overall and Chandon Sullivan also had an interception. DeVondre Campbell led the Packers with 13 tackles (12 solo). Krys Barnes added 5 tackles (4 solo) but also allowed four completions on four targets for 56 yards and two first downs, per Pro Football Focus.
With Valdes-Scantling out, Equanimeous St. Brown played 48 snaps (81%) but was not targeted. He did carry the ball once for minus 10 yards. Amari Rodgers received no snaps on offense but did return a punt for 9 yards. Henry Black played 11 snaps with King out and had no statistics. Black had an assisted tackle on special teams. Jack Heflin played 4 snaps but had no statistics.
