Fresh off a breakout performance, Bo Melton has been rewarded by the Green Bay Packers for Week 18.
Green Bay signed Melton to its active roster Monday after promoting him from the practice squad the last three weeks, including before Sunday night’s 33-10 rout of the Minnesota Vikings.
Melton, originally a seventh-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2022, caught six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown in the win in Minneapolis.
So far, the former Rutgers star has logged 11 receptions for 156 yards and carried once for seven yards in four games this season.

In order to make room for Melton on the roster, Green Bay placed wide receiver Samori Toure on injured reserve. Safety Tyler Coyle was signed to the practice squad to take Melton’s place.
Now 8-8 on the season, the Packers can reach the playoffs with a win over the rival Chicago Bears in Week 18. Green Bay still could make the postseason even with a loss, but would need some help elsewhere.
Packers-Bears will kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday on CBS.
