The Green Bay Packers have one of the most iconic helmets in the NFL, and while they have worn different throwback lids in recent years, they’ve never donned a different color “alternate” helmet, at least until now.
According to Uni Watch’s Paul Lukas, the Packers will be adding a white alternate helmet to the fold this coming season.
Lukas cites a source who earlier this month provided him with info on all of the uniform changes for 2024. At first, he was unsure of the validity of the claims, but the person’s intel has proven true so far.
“But as more teams have unveiled their designs and more leaks have emerged, this source’s descriptions have proven to be 100% accurate,” Lukas explains. So I now feel comfortable reporting on something else he told me: The Packers, he says, are getting a white alternate helmet.”
Lukas also says the Packers’ white headgear will include the franchise’s standard “G” logo on each side, just as the typical yellow helmets do.
Green Bay has worn all-white Color Rush uniforms multiple times over the years, but always paired them with their usual helmets.

We’ll have to see if they will use the white helmets with the Color Rush outfits this year, or if they have other plans.
