The Green Bay Packers have two opponents on their 2025 road schedule that will play international games, creating a real opportunity that Matt LaFleur’s team will be playing overseas at some point next season.
The Packers — who opened the 2024 season against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil — will play the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in 2025, and both teams are designated as home teams for international games.
The Browns are one of two teams that will play in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the Steelers will play in Dublin for the Ireland’s first NFL game.
Rumors have swirled online regarding the Packers already being selected as the Steelers’ opponent in Dublin. Neither the NFL nor the Packers have confirmed the reports.
The Packers have only eight home games in 2025 and will not give up a home game to play internationally.
The Packers were the final team to play an international game as part of the NFL’s International Series. They’ve since lost both international games — the first to the New York Giants in London in 2022 and the second to open 2024 against the Eagles. The Packers are one of just six teams without a win in the NFL International Series, which began in 2007.
The NFL will play games in the England (London), Ireland (Dublin), Spain (Madrid), Germany (Berlin) and Brazil (Sao Paulo) during the 2025 season.
