The Green Bay Packers appeared to get a boost from the officials at the end of the third quarter against the Detroit Lions tonight.
After Jordan Love completed a pass to Romeo Doubs for a first down, the Packers tried to hurry to the line of scrimmage to get one more play off before the quarter expired.
It certainly appeared that they did not do that–the clock on NBC’s score bug showed triple zeroes–but officials did not blow the play dead before it started.
Love wound up completing a long pass to Jayden Reed which set Green Bay up with a 1st-and-goal. Two plays later, Love scored on a quarterback draw to trim Detroit’s lead to 27-17.
#Packers might’ve gotten away with one: The clock clearly hits 0:00 for the end of the quarter and the refs let it go.

Social media exploded in protest about the call, but there was nothing that could be done. Those types of issues are not reviewable.
The Lions didn’t let the setback derail them for too long however. After surrendering the touchdown that reduced their lead to 10 points, Detroit put together a strong drive on its next possession and is on the verge of putting the game away.
The Lions currently lead Green Bay 27-17 with 8:10 remaining in the fourth quarter on Amazon Prime.
