While speaking to reporters on Wednesday afternoon, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was asked about his future with the franchise. After the 2021 season is over, Adams will be a free agent.
Adams was asked if his future in Green Bay is connected to Aaron Rodgers, who could be on the move via trade in 2022. The All-Pro wideout admit that he’d consider following Rodgers to another team.
“Naturally,” Adams replied. “Why wouldn’t it? I’m playing with the best quarterback to play the game … it won’t be the end-all-be-all, but it’ll definitely be something I’m monitoring.”
This response from Adams led to a plethora of different reactions on social media. Green Bay fans don’t want to see Adams go, while everyone else is trying to recruit him to their favorite team.
“Ask him how he’d like to play for Nate Hackett with Trevor Lawrence at 5yrs 125 mil,” an NFL fan tweeted.

“Yeah and I don’t blame him because why would i wanna play with a QB with no experience and who I have no connection with? If Rodgers goes then Adams is most likely gone too,” another fan tweeted.

Since being drafted by the Packers in 2014, Adams has 652 catches for 7,930 yards and 72 touchdowns.
There’ll be plenty of eyes on Adams this offseason, there’s no doubt about it.
