It’s a rough early afternoon schedule, but things pick up when Packers-49ers kicks off.
The big game on the NFL schedule today is the one that all of us here at Acme Packing Company are invested in. The Green Bay Packers will host the San Francisco 49ers in the late afternoon time slot ,a game that will be broadcast locally in nearly every corner of the country.
That is the big game today, and it follows a batch of relatively uninteresting games during the early slate. There are a handful of divisional matchups kicking off at noon Central — Vikings vs. Bears comes to mind and should be at least somewhat interesting for NFC North fans — but otherwise few other games really move the needle. In fact, not a single game on Sunday features two teams that are both over .500 on the season, and only three (Packers-49ers, Cardinals-Seahawks, and Eagles-Rams on Sunday Night Football) even match up a .500 team with another winning team.
That all serves to say that the early slate of games today is relatively uninspiring. But it all picks up in the afternoon and will wrap up with what should be an interesting prime time matchup. Join us for all of the games here and bring it back for full coverage of Packers-49ers later on this afternoon!
