The first half of tonight’s game was a nightmare for Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers scored only three points, with those coming off an interception on the Detroit Lions’ first offensive position that set Green Bay up with prime field position.
Overall, the Packers gained only 20 yards of total offense in the first two quarters. Quarterback Jordan Love was sacked four times and also threw a bad interception of his own.
The Packers were booed off the field at halftime, and a disheartened LaFleur pulled no punches about the performance during his interview at intermission.
“It’s very humbling and embarrassing right now,” LaFleur said. “We’ve got to be able to look each other in the eye, man-to-man, and give it up for one another in this whole second half. I want to see this whole time fight.”

The Packers overcame a 17-0 deficit after three quarters in Week 3, scoring 18 unanswered points to stun the New Orleans Saints.
They have a long way to go to come back tonight, but Green Bay just punched the ball into the end zone on its first possession, which might be a good sign.
