Despite Jordan Love’s recent struggles, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur thinks he’s still the guy.
He started out the season with six touchdown passes and no interceptions in his first two games but has thrown only four touchdown passes and seven interceptions in his last four games.
It’s led the Packers to lose three of those four games but LaFleur is confident that he’ll turn it around.
“Our confidence in him is not wavering one bit,” LaFleur said, via ProFootballTalk. “Certainly, I think, as the play-caller you put a lot of onus on yourself when things aren’t going well. We’ll continue to do that, but we’ve got to find a way to generate more points because when you’re generating points, it’s just a totally different narrative.”
The Packers only scored 17 points against the Broncos this past Sunday, which wasn’t good enough in a 19-17 loss. They’ll need to score more than 17 points if they want to beat the Minnesota Vikings next Sunday.
Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET.
