The Packers QB threw for 4 TDs and 258 yards in the team’s win over the Cardinals.
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Arizona Cardinals in dominant fashion this week in part due to quarterback Jordan Love’s best game of the year. That performance is getting some attention this week as the NFL announced that Jordan Love has been nominated for FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week.
Jordan Love threw for 258 yards, 4 TDs, and had a 119.5 passer rating in Sunday’s game. He also became the first Packers QB to throw 4+ TD passes in back-to-back home games in a season since Brett Favre in 1995.

It is Love’s first nomination this season and the third of his career. He was also nominated in Week 11 last year and won for last season’s Week 18 performance in the Packers’ season finale against the Chicago Bears that sent the team to the playoffs. Jordan Love is going up against Jared Goff, Caleb Williams, Derrick Henry, Joe Mixon, and Sean Tucker for their Week 6 performances.
Fans are encouraged to vote on the FedEx Air & Ground website or on the Twitter/X poll linked below.

Love is the second Packer to be nominated for the award this season. Wide receiver Jayden Reed was nominated, but lost to Joe Mixon and Baker Mayfield, for his Week 1 performance against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
This season the NFL has expanded eligibility for the award to include wide receivers and tight ends this season instead of just running backs and quarterbacks. They’ve also eliminated separate Air and Ground awards and combined them into one with fans getting to vote for any of the nominees each week.
For the 2024-2025 season, the NFL will be making donations of $2,000 for Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the name of the winners each week to help support needs-based scholarships for the current school year.
