The Green Bay Packers will be without their star left tackle for the next month.
David Bakhtiari was placed on injured reserve on Thursday after having arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday. He has to miss at least the next four games before he’s allowed to return.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, there’s a chance that he may have to miss more time and he’s expected to have another surgery in a few weeks, which will get him even healthier for next season.
“Sources say he had a knee scope yesterday (Wednesday), that was the first surgery. My understanding is that the first surgery was a precursor to the second surgery, which should happen a little down the line here,” Rapoport said.

This is a big loss for the Packers but they’re hoping that these surgeries will get him back on the field soon.
In the meantime, Rasheed Walker will be his replacement as the Packers try and get to 3-1 overall on Thursday night.
