Aaron Jones was able to escape serious injury in Sunday’s win over the Chargers. But that doesn’t mean he’ll be back in time for this week’s game, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
On Wednesday’s “Good Morning Football,” Rapoport shared that the Packers’ star running back is “likely to miss” the team’s Thanksgiving Day game with an MCL sprain.
Aaron Jones, who Dan Campbell is not going to see on Thursday, is dealing with an MCL sprain. He is considered week-to-week. If you watched that injury, if you watched his reaction, it looked like a serious injury. It is not a serious injury, definitely caught a break here. We’ll see how many games he actually misses besides this one but either way not major for Aaron Jones.

It has to be a bit of a relief for Packers fans to know that Jones isn’t lost for the season. However with two teams still well-ahead of them in the division, the wins are going to have to start piling up over these next seven games.
On the season, Jones has carried the ball 66 times for 245 yards and two touchdowns and added another 19 catches, 169 yards and a score in the receiving game.
