The Green Bay Packers are without cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring) while the Miami Dolphins are down a starting linebacker in Anthony Walker Jr. and a starting cornerback in Kendall Fuller. Luckily, the Packers will have center Josh Myers and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie, who were listed as questionable for the game, which will take off the stress of the team’s limited depth at those positions. Miami left tackle Terron Armstead, who was also listed as questionable on Wednesday, is playing for the Dolphins tonight.
Expect a pointsy affair, as both defenses are struggling with injuries. The Packers have relied on the success of their running game throughout the season, off of the back of Josh Jacob’s broken tackles, while the Dolphins’ passing game has caught fire recently —as Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for three 120-plus passer rating games this month following his absence with a concussion.

First Half Updates
Drive #1-Packers Offense: Returner Keisean Nixon returned to the ball 43 yards on the opening on the kickoff, but a series of mistakes led to a three and out. First, the Packers were stuffed on the opening offensive play of the game. Then a penalty set Green Bay back to a 2nd and 14. On second down, Jordan Love missed a deep throw to Jayden Reed. The final offensive play of this set of downs was a Love incompletion that was nearly called a fumble. Luckily, the Dolphins fumbled the punt, which the Packers covered inside the 10-yard line. Love eventually found Reed in the end zone, making up for their missed connection earlier in the first quarter. Packers 7-0

Drive #2-Packers Defense: As expected, Eric Wilson was the third linebacker in the Packers’ 4-3 base defense. Cornerback Carrington Valentine, in place of Jaire Alexander, got the start opposite of Keisean Nixon. To call this drive would be an understatement. Four penalties were called, none bigger than an unnecessary roughness call on tight end Jonnu Smith. Miami wound up punting on a 4th and 26.
Drive #3-Packers Offense: Dontayvion Wicks dropped a ball on a post route that would have gone on a big game. The ball had a chance to be intercepted by the Dolphins or caught by Christian Watson, but ultimately fell to the turf. Despite that, the Packers’ offense was able to turn a 12-play, 76-yard drive into seven points with a Josh Jacobs touchdown. Packers 14-0

Drive #4-Packers Defense: Green Bay is rotating cornerbacks, as Eric Stokes got the nod over Carrington Valentine to start this drive. Miami was able to drive the ball down the field to the warning stripe of the red zone, but the Dolphins took a delay of game on a fourth and four that sent in kicker Jason Sanders for a 48-yard field goal….momentarily until T.J. Slaton was flagged for a neutral zone infraction which brought the offense back to the field. Tagovailoa then found receiver Jaylen Waddle on a wide-open dig that put the Dolphins inside the ten. Miami’s offense sputtered in the red zone, though, leading to a chip shot from Sanders. Packers 14-3
