Former Green Bay Packers fullback Fred Cone passed away this morning, the team announced. He was 95 years old.
Cone had been the oldest living former Packers player. A franchise Hall of Famer, he played for Green Bay from 1951-57 before finishing his NFL tenure with the Dallas Cowboys in 1960.
While Cone was primarily a fullback, rushing for 1,156 yards and 12 touchdowns with Green Bay, he also doubled as a placekicker. Cone finished with 59 made field goals and a 929% conversion rating on extra points during his time in his career.
He also holds the honor of having kicked the first extra point and field goal at Lambeau Field.
