It’s widely believed that Aaron Rodgers is playing his final few games with the Green Bay Packers – whether they win the Super Bowl or not. But one ESPN analyst has a message for Rodgers as he seemingly plans his exit.
On Wednesday’s edition of Get Up, Domonique Foxworth said that Rodgers needs to take more responsibility for his decisions. He asserted that if Rodgers doesn’t like being in Green Bay for personal reasons or simply wants to make his own decisions then he should just say that, rather than blame the Packers for their relationship not working.
“Don’t come out here and try to blame it on somebody else with your laundry list of errors and try to make it seem like [the Packers] forced you out,” Foworth said. “I just wish that Aaron Rodgers would take responsibility for his decisions and stop trying to paint himself as some kind of victim… No one is victimizing you… You don’t need to find someone else to blame it on.”
If this really is Rodgers’ last or even second-to-last season in Green Bay, he’s going out with a bang. He is completing 68-percent of his passes for 3,689 yards and 33 touchdowns this season. He’s putting up similar numbers to last year’s MVP season and is the favorite to win the award again this year.
.@Foxworth24 says he wishes Aaron Rodgers would “step up and take responsibility for his decisions.”

But this NFL season has also seen Aaron Rodgers bare his behind in some rather embarrassing ways. His unhinged rant on The Pat McAfee Show after he got diagnosed with COVID-19 really exposed what a diva he is.
Maybe that was all part of a ploy to widen the gap between him and the Packers, and make it easier for him to leave. But he has lost the respect of a lot of people through his antics this year.
The Packers are no strangers to diva quarterbacks, but Foxworth is right: They’ve given him everything. Rodgers has talent around him this year that can get the job done and their record reflects it.
