The Green Bay Packers captured their first win of the 2024 season on Sunday, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 16-10.
Without starting quarterback Jordan Love, the Packers were committed to the run game and took advantage of a porous Colts defense, totaling 261 yards rushing and averaging nearly five yards per carry.
The defense managed to bounce back from last week’s performance, in which they surrendered 34 points and over 400 yards of offense to the Philadelphia Eagles. Indianapolis struggled to move the ball with any regularity, mustering just under 20 minutes in time possession and a single touchdown.
It wasn’t always pretty at times, and there were certainly some teachable moments, but you can’t argue with the result. The Packers improved to 1-1 and will visit the 0-2 Titans team next week.
