The Badgers return to the court following their major upset on Monday evening.
Fresh off their major 103-88 victory over the No. 9 Arizona Wildcats, the Wisconsin Badgers are set to continue their undefeated campaign when they host the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros on Monday night, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Wisconsin had one of their best offensive performances in recent memory, cracking the 100-point barrier thanks to a 41-point game from transfer guard John Tonje, who was highly efficient, getting to the line for a whopping 22 free throw attempts.
That performance put the Badgers on the map in just the second week of the season, as they improved to 4-0, taking them to Monday night where they face a 3-2 UT Rio Grande Valley team that has already seen some top competition.
The Vaqueros have seen a tough start to the schedule, starting off with an 87-67 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers and a 99-86 loss to the Creighton Blue Jays, where Creighton center Ryan Kalkbrenner poured in 49 points in a monster game.
UT Rio Grande Valley has been on a scoring tear though, putting up at least 83 points in four consecutive games, including each of their last two, and they head to the Kohl Center on a three-game winning streak, looking to pull off the upset.
