The Badgers are staying at home looking to extend their five-game win streak on Tuesday.
Fresh off an 80-59 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Wisconsin Badgers are staying back home for a matchup with the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday, with tip-off set for 8:00 p.m.
The Badgers, standing at 13-3, are currently 3-2 in conference play, as they notched their third win in conference play against Minnesota on Friday, outscoring the Gophers by 20 in the second half en route to a blowout victory.
Wisconsin started slow in that one, going down 10 early on before bouncing back with a run of their own to retake the lead 30-29 at halftime. Then came the second half explosion, putting the game away for good and notching the Badgers their fifth straight win.
Center Steven Crowl once again led the way for Wisconsin, scoring 18 points on 6/7 shooting, marking the fifth straight game he’s had over 14 points on strong efficiency.
In place of Max Klesmit, Kamari McGee made use of his first start at Wisconsin, scoring 15 points and knocking down three three-pointers, while recording three steals in a team-high 33 minutes.
The Badgers were lights out defensively once again, and they’ll look to take on that challenge against the Ohio State Buckeyes, who are 10-6 this season and 2-3 in conference play.
Now, Wisconsin turns its attention to a rivalry matchup, as they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers, who have started the season 8-7, including 0-4 in conference play.
The Buckeyes most recently dropped a two-point game to the No. 15 Oregon Ducks, which came after a win over Minnesota and a loss to Michigan State.
They’ve had a tough schedule so far, as five of their six losses have come against teams who have been in the AP Top 25 at one point this season.
