Can the Badgers continue their momentum in game No. 2?
Fresh off an 85-61 win over the Holy Cross Crusaders, the Wisconsin Badgers are set to host their second consecutive game, playing against the Montana State Bobcats on Thursday, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m.
The Badgers started off their season slow against Holy Cross, falling to a 21-5 deficit before ultimately powering through and exploding in the second half for a 24-point victory on Saturday.
Transfer John Tonje led the way with 23 points, scoring a trio of threes, while also attacking consistently, getting to the free-throw line eight times. Behind him, guard John Blackwell, who had 16 points, and forward Nolan Winter, who had 15 points, each had productive nights en route to a dominant win for the Badgers.
The Bobcats have yet to play a game, as their season opener is on Thursday on the road in Wisconsin.
