The Badgers have their biggest game of the regular season on Sunday.
Fresh off an 71-62 loss to the Michigan State Spartans, the Wisconsin Badgers are heading into the final week of the season, starting with their annual Border Battle matchup against the Minnesota Golden Gophers
The Badgers, standing at 22-7, are currently 12-6 in conference play, ranking fifth in the Big Ten behind Michigan State (15-3), Michigan (14-4), Purdue (13-6), and Maryland (12-6).
Wisconsin struggled from three in their loss, shooting an ugly 5/32, which led to their worst offensive output of the season.
Still, thanks to a strong defensive performance, they managed to keep things close, with the back-and-forth battle being a single-digit game for much of the afternoon.
Wisconsin dropped only one spot in the AP Poll after their 1-1 week, falling to No. 12, and they’ll kick things off this week by hitting the road to play the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Wednesday.
Minnesota is led by star forward Dawson Garcia, who averages 19.3 points and 7.5 rebounds, while shooting 48 percent from the field and 36 percent from three.
Behind him, Lu’Cye Patterson is the only other scorer in the double figures, averaging 11.7 points per game, although that’s come on poor efficiency, with the guard shooting under 40 percent from the field and 30 percent from three.
Here are the odds and information for today’s game.
