The Wisconsin Badgers are kicking off their season (unofficially) on Wednesday evening when they take on the UW-River Falls Falcons in an exhibition match at the Kohl Center, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m.
Wisconsin overturned their roster this offseason, as seven players departed the program, while the team brought in six new pieces to bolster the rotation, with three coming via the transfer portal and three coming in as freshmen.
The Badgers are projected to start John Blackwell, Max Klesmit, John Tonje, Nolan Winter, and Steven Crowl here, but they may experiment more often as they look to set their rotations ahead of the season opener against Holy Cross next Monday.
Here’s what Wisconsin’s full roster looks like:
Point Guards: Kamari McGee, Daniel Freitag, Camren Hunter, Aidan Konop
Shooting Guards: John Blackwell, Max Klesmit, John Tonje, Isaac Gard, Jack Janicki
Small Forwards: Jack Robison, Carter Gilmore
Power Forwards: Nolan Winter, Xavier Amos, Markus Illver
Centers: Steven Crowl, Riccardo Greppi, Chris Hodges
