The biggest news is clearly the status of running back Tawee Walker, who has been listed as questionable ahead of the game.
Walker was the top back in Week 1, leading the team with 39 snaps, while taking 18 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown in a timeshare with Chez Mellusi.
Following the game last week, head coach Luke Fickell revealed that Walker had a minor injury scare at the beginning of the game, prompting him to go into the medical tent, but he was ultimately available to return and consumed a big workload.
If Walker isn’t able to go, Cade Yacamelli would be the next man up at running back and could get a major workload after going for 35 yards on four carries last week.
Additionally, backup tackle Barrett Nelson has been upgraded from out to questionable. He missed Week 1 with an injury.
Wide receiver Joseph Griffin is the lone addition to the injury report as he has been ruled out of today’s game. Griffin was healthy in Week 1, but did not see any reps. Wideouts Chris Brooks Jr. and Haakon Anderson were listed ahead of him on the two-deep this week as well.
Stay tuned for the live coverage of today’s game!
