Which team will become bowl eligible on Saturday?
Fresh off a 16-13 loss to the No. 1 Oregon Ducks, the Wisconsin Badgers are headed to Lincoln for a matchup with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, with kickoff slated for 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
Wisconsin had a strong performance defensively, as they held the top offense in the country to just one touchdown, but they couldn’t muster enough offense to pull off the major upset.
Now, they have a big rivalry matchup ahead as Wisconsin looks to win the Freedom Trophy for the 11th straight time against the Cornhuskers, with both teams looking to get bowl eligibility.
The Badgers, seen as 1.5-point underdogs, are looking for their sixth win, coming in on a three-game losing streak, while Nebraska is also on a recent slide, missing out on four straight chances to gain bowl eligibility.
Wisconsin comes into the game with a few notable injuries, as star safety Hunter Wohler and wide receiver Will Pauling are both out. Meanwhile, linebacker Jaheim Thomas and defensive lineman James Thompson Jr. are both questionable.
