Can the Badgers pull off a second straight victory to start the year?
Fresh off an 85-61 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders, the Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the Montana State Bobcats on Thursday, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers are coming off a game where they started off slow, trailing 21-5 at one point before making a run to cut the deficit to 36-35 at halftime. Then, during the second half against Holy Cross, Wisconsin was able to go on multiple runs, outscoring the Crusaders 50-25 for a 24-point victory in the season opener.
After guard Camren Hunter missed out on the season opener, Wisconsin is fully healthy for Thursday’s contest.
Montana State, on the other hand, is coming off a 17-17 season, including 9-9 in their conference, and they’ll kick off their season on Thursday with a road trip against Wisconsin.
Wisconsin is set to host each of its first five games of the season, which continues with the Bobcats on Thursday and continues along with App State, No. 10 Arizona, and UT Rio Grande Valley.
