Can the Badgers win a major rivalry game at the kohl center on Tuesday?
After a week-long break, the Wisconsin Badgers are back in action, facing off against their in-state rivals, the Marquette Golden Eagles, in a Tuesday evening showdown at the Kohl Center, with first serve set for 7:00 p.m.
The Badgers have enjoyed a nice three-game winning streak, which included victories over Baylor and TCU in the Big 10/Big 12 challenge, as well as a sweep in the home opener against Milwaukee last Tuesday.
Now, Wisconsin, 3-3, will look to break .500 for the first time this season, and get a big opportunity to do so as they face Marquette. They’ll get a bigger crowd behind them, with the match taking place in the Kohl Center.
The Badgers have a strong history against Marquette, leading the series 22-1, with the lone loss coming in a five-set thriller back in 2019. They’ll look to continue that dominant stretch with another victory on Tuesday, but will do so without a key piece, as setter Charlie Fuerbringer is in a walking boot and will not play.
Can the Badgers pull off a nice victory and continue their current winning streak?
