The season opener is finally here for the Badgers.
The start of the 2024-25 season is finally here. The Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the Holy Cross Crusaders to kick off the year on Monday, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers are coming off an up-and-down season that saw them reach as high as No. 6 in the AP Top 25 before reeling near the end of the year. They ultimately finished strong with a run in the Big Ten Tournament, securing a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament before bowing out in the first round to the James Madison Dukes.
Holy Cross, on the other hand, is coming off a 10-23 season, including 6-12 in the Patriot League, and will be without one of their top players, as junior guard Will Batchelder has left the program.
Wisconsin is set to host each of its first five games of the season, which starts with the Crusaders on Monday and continues along with Montana State, App State, No. 10 Arizona, and UT Rio Grande Valley.
