The Badgers had a busy day on the recruiting front on Monday.
The Wisconsin Badgers got some mixed news on Monday, as they were able to flip 2025 three-star tight end Emmett Bork from the Michigan State Spartans, while losing defensive line commit Wilnerson Telemaque.
Bork, a 6’6, 245-pound tight end, is a Wisconsin native, and had been receiving interest from the coaching staff for over a year, camping with the Badgers last year and coming out for multiple visits. He most recently was there this past weekend for Wisconsin’s game against Penn State, ultimately flipping and giving the Badgers two tight ends in their second straight class.
The Badgers are looking at a very young group at tight end currently, and are continuing the youth movement with two more players in the 2025 class, as Bork joins Nizyi Davis as Wisconsin’s tight end commits.
Telemaque, a 6’6, 250-pound defensive lineman, had been committed to Wisconsin since June, but the Badgers recently added three-star Drayden Pavey, flipping him from the Purdue Boilermakers, which made the de-commitment unsurprising on Monday evening.
Wisconsin now has three defensive line commits in the 2025 class: Pavey, Torin Pettaway, and Xavier Ukponu.
With their recent flip and de-commitment, where does the Badgers 2025 recruiting class rank in the country?
With their 24th commit, Wisconsin now has the 17th-ranked class according to Rivals, placing them back inside the top 20, and the 28th-best according to 247Sports.
That comes after the Badgers had a strong 2024 class that ranked 19th on Rivals and 23rd on 247Sports.
