The Badgers are back at the Kohl Center after a disappointing loss.
The No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers are slated to face off against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Wednesday evening, looking to bounce back after their disappointing loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers over the weekend.
Wisconsin had some momentum building into the weekend, beating the No. 16 Minnesota Gophers in a 3-2 thriller at home that went deep into the fifth set.
Winners of 15 of their last 16, the Badgers then dropped a sweep to Nebraska, losing 25-21, 25-22, and 25-17 in the weekend defeat, marking their second loss to the Huskers this season.
Now standing at 21-6, the Badgers will look to continue their dominance at home on Wednesday when they host the Buckeyes, as they’ve gone 11-1 in Madison this season.
Ohio State has started the year 14-14, going 7-11 in conference play, but they’re running on a three-match win streak as of late.
Most recently, they beat the Indiana Hoosiers 3-2 after consecutive sweeps over the Washington Huskies and Rutgers Scarlet Knights in their two prior matches.
Can the Badgers start up another winning streak against a conference opponent on Wednesday evening?
