When are the Badgers tipping off against Illinois on Tuesday?
Fresh off an 88-74 loss to the Marquette Golden Eagles over the weekend, the No. 20 Wisconsin Badgers are staying on the road to face the Illinois Fighting Illini, with tip-off set for 8:00 p.m. on Peacock.
After an 8-0 start to the year, the Badgers have dropped two in a row, losing 67-64 to the Michigan Wolverines at home before Saturday’s loss to Marquette, moving them from the No. 11 team in the country to No. 20.
Now, they cap off a rough three-game road stretch with a matchup against Illinois, who are coming off a 70-66 overtime loss to the Northwestern Wildcats, dropping to 6-2 on the year.
Illinois’s only other loss came at the hands of the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide in a 100-87 in-season tournament loss, while they’ve beat Arkansas as their biggest win thus far.
The Fighting Illini average 86.3 points per game, thanks to their talented trio of underclassmen: center Tomislav Ivisic, forward Will Riley, and guard Kasparas Jakucionis.
Coming in as healthy underdogs, can the Badgers get back on track with a major win?
