Can the Badgers pull off the upset on Saturday afternoon against their in-state rivals?
Fresh off a 67-64 victory loss to the Michigan Wolverines, the No. 11 Wisconsin Badgers are hitting the road for an in-state rivalry matchup with the No. 5 Marquette Golden Eagles, with tip-off set for 12:30 p.m.
The Badgers started off the season 8-0, suffering their first loss earlier this week to kick off a tough three-game stretch that involves matchups against both Marquette and Illinois.
It was a close contest throughout against Michigan, as Wisconsin really struggled to shoot the ball, hitting just 6/27 of their three-pointers, with a lot of the misses coming off open looks.
They’ll look to turn the ship around against a tough opponent Saturday that they’ve had some recent success against with the Marquette Golden Eagles.
Standing at 8-1 as well, the Golden Eagles are coming off their first loss of the year, an 81-70 defeat at the hands of the Iowa State Cyclones.
They’re averaging 82.9 points per game, thanks to an excellent start for guard Kam Jones, who is averaging 19 points per game, while shooting 58.8 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from three.
Here are the odds and information for today’s game.
