The former Badgers back reached a major milestone on Monday.
While the Wisconsin Badgers may not be having a great weekend, that doesn’t mean some of their former players can’t enjoy some football.
That’s exactly what happened when former Badgers running back Braelon Allen scored the first touchdown of his NFL career on Sunday, punching the ball after a pitch from quarterback Aaron Rodgers to put the New York Jets on the board against the Tennessee Titans.

Allen, who has been the clear No. 2 back to star Breece Hall with the Jets, got a major opportunity late in the second quarter on Sunday, as he was involved in the red zone, executing a screen play for the score.
The 20-year-old running back was involved sparingly in Week 1, getting some run after the game was out of hand, rushing for eight yards on his first carry, while also catching a nine-yard pass from backup Tyrod Taylor.
With Hall consuming much of the workload for New York, it’ll be tough for Allen to gain a major role in Year 1, but he has his first touchdown under his belt in the NFL.
