The Badgers former commit has a new home.
The Wisconsin Badgers saw a change in their 2025 recruiting class recently, as three-star defensive line commit Wilnerson Telemaque de-committed from the program after receiving interest from other schools.
With the uncertainty around the three-star, the Badgers made a move, flipping three-star defensive lineman Drayden Pavey to get a third player in the position at the class.
Well, it didn’t take long for Telemaque to find a new home, as the three-star recently committed to West Virginia, who was a finalist for the defensive lineman back in June prior to his commitment to Wisconsin.

With Telemaque not in the equation, the Badgers have Pavey, Torin Pettaway, and Xavier Ukponu at defensive line in their 2025 class, with Pavey and Ukponu set up to play on the interior.
Given the state of the Badgers defensive line, it wouldn’t be surprising for players to see action early in their careers at Wisconsin, as Ukponu revealed that getting a chance to play early was a factor in his recruitment.
Wisconsin also had a recent de-commitment at outside linebacker, as Brenden Anes flipped to be closer to home, committing to the in-state Tennessee Volunteers, leaving the Badgers with two players at the position in their 2025 class.
Wisconsin is expected to try and make a move at the position to secure a third commitment before the early signing period, giving them three outside linebackers and three defensive linemen in their 2025 class.
