Both teams enter Camp Randall Stadium with a 5-5 record behind a renowned head coach completing his first full season leading the program. ESPN Analytics likes the home team to prevail.
Per ESPN’s Matchup Predictor, Wisconsin has a 70.4 percent win probability. The Badgers are 4.5-point favorites with a -200 moneyline on ESPN Bet.

Vegas doesn’t expect much scoring between the Huskies and Badgers. The game has an over/under of 36.5 points, which makes sense since Wisconsin and Nebraska each rank outside the top 100 with 22.2 and 18.3 points per game, respectively.
Neither school storms into the game with much momentum either.
After three straight wins, Nebraska mustered 27 combined points in consecutive losses to Michigan State and Maryland. Meanwhile, Wisconsin has scored 34 points in three straight losses.
Per The Athletic’s Jesse Temple, Luke Fickell gave his players a chance to vent during Sunday’s practice.
“Nobody likes losing, and I think that’s the really big thing here is that you put all this work, all this time in and we haven’t been able to piece it together, and I think it’s extremely frustrating,” Badgers center Tanor Bortolini said. “So I think Sunday you felt some of those emotions come out, but I think it was a very positive thing. It’s just kind of some stuff that needed to be said.”
The Badgers have lost their last three home games, but the Huskies are just 1-3 away from Memorial Stadium. Perhaps more pressing, Nebraska hasn’t defeated Wisconsin since 2012.
Matt Rhule will look to snap that drought and lead Nebraska to its first bowl game in seven years. NBC will televise the game Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
