The Wisconsin Badgers have secured a commitment from Miami Hurricanes transfer cornerback D’Yoni Hill in the transfer portal, he announced on Sunday.

A 6’0, 175-pound cornerback from Florida, Hill saw action in 11 games for the Hurricanes this past season, recording 33 tackles and a pass breakup while working as a part-time starter.
Prior to the 2024 season, Hill spent his first two years with the Marshall Thundering Herd, where he broke out in 2023, recording 55 tackles, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and an interception as a sophomore.
Now heading to the Badgers, the cornerback fills a major need for Wisconsin, who lost significant depth at cornerback this offseason, leaving them with just three expected returners: Ricardo Hallman (assuming he returns), Jay Harper, and Omillio Agard.
He becomes the second cornerback to transfer to Wisconsin this offseason, joining Jacksonville State’s Geimere Latimer, and may not be the last as the Badgers look to restock the room with experience ahead of the 2025 season.
