Watts, a native of Massachusetts, chose Wisconsin over Michigan and Clemson in one of the biggest recruiting victories for the Badgers in the 2025 class.
Watts was arguably offensive line coach A.J. Blazek’s biggest target heading into official visits, but the Badgers were presumed to be behind the 8-ball with Michigan holding a strong base for the four-star offensive lineman.
Ultimately though, Blazek and Wisconsin relentlessly showed their interest, and Watts decided to commit to the Badgers, adding the biggest piece to a strong offensive line group.
With Watts’s commitment, the Badgers have gotten five offensive linemen in back-to-back cycles, marking some big recruiting moments for the program.
Watts joins tackles Michael Roeske, Cam Clark, and Nolan Davenport, as well as interior offensive lineman Logan Powell in the 2025 class. The Badgers landed Kevin Heywood, Emerson Mandell, Collin Cubberly, Ryan Cory, and Derek Jensen in the 2024 class.
Watts is expected to play guard at Wisconsin, but could profile at any interior spot depending on how the group plays out in the future.
He becomes commit No. 22 for the Badgers and the 11th to join the program since the month of June began.
