Reed, a 6’7, 250-pound defensive lineman, attends Rich Central High School in Olympia, Illinois, and becomes the third commitment for the Badgers in their 2026 class.
Reed was just on campus for an unofficial visit during Wisconsin’s spring practice on Saturday and ultimately committed to the Badgers. It was a major day of recruiting for the Badgers, and the early returns are starting to come as a result.
The three-star held offers from over two dozen schools, including LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Missouri, Minnesota, and Boston College, among others.
Ultimately, Wisconsin won out, landing their first defensive line commit of the cycle.
Reed joins offensive lineman Benjamin Novak and wide receiver Tayshon Bardo as the commits in Wisconsin’s 2026 recruiting class.
Reed currently has an official visit planned to Wisconsin for the weekend of June 6th.
