Wahl posted another productive campaign as the team’s starting forward in 2022, averaging 11.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 32 games for 20-15 Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-9 senior was one of four Badgers starters to average double figures this past season. Along with: Chucky Hepburn, Steven Crowl and Connor Essegian.
Fans reacted to the Tyler Wahl news on social media.
“Legacy year for him,” a user replied. “If we get the version of T-Wahl that we got for the first 10 games this year, fantastic. If we get his post-ankle injury shell of himself… not good.”

“Badgers staff had been quietly confident Wahl would return,” reported Jeff Potrykus. “No way he wanted his last college game to be in NIT.”
