The Badgers are getting a top quarterback target in the 2026 class on campus for an official visit.
The Wisconsin Badgers have been ramping up their recruiting efforts over the past few weeks, scheduling official visits with a number of their top targets in the 2026 class.
Among the group is three-star quarterback Ryan Hopkins, who announced on Sunday that he scheduled an official visit to Wisconsin for the weekend of May 29th to June 1st.

Hopkins, a California native who will play at powerhouse Mater Dei this upcoming season, is a three-star recruit who stands 6’3, 195 pounds.
He has been on Wisconsin’s radar for quite some time, as the Badgers offered him back in October, with former offensive coordinator Phil Longo being his primary recruiter at first.
Hopkins came to campus for Wisconsin’s game against Penn State, and he’s been on the team’s radar ever since.
While the Badgers parted ways with 2026 quarterback commit Jarin Mock after changing offensive coordinators to Jeff Grimes, Hopkins remained a target of the staff, and he’s now heading to Madison during the first weekend of official visits.
Wisconsin is still looking to nab two quarterbacks in the class, but Hopkins seems like the likeliest option to commit to the Badgers of the group, as the team continues to make a strong push for the three-star.
