The Badgers have aggressively pursued a number of wide receivers in the transfer portal.
The Wisconsin Badgers recently got a commitment from former Ohio State Buckeyes four-star wide receiver Jayden Ballard, but they may not be done at the position just yet.
Making a slew of offers to wide receivers, the Badgers extended a scholarship to Charlotte transfer wideout O’Mega Blake, who is considered the top deep-threat receiver in the portal.
Blake has seen significant interest since entering the transfer portal, earning double-digit offers, while scheduling visits to SEC schools such as South Carolina and Arkansas, with Florida State in the mix there as well.
As a redshirt junior in 2024, Blake caught 32 passes for 795 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 24.8 yards per catch, which was the most of any receiver who earned over 750 yards on the season.
For his final season of eligibility, the 6’2, 180-pound will certainly have his fair share of suitors, and the Badgers have put their name in the ring, extending an offer to the Charlotte transfer.
Wisconsin has also offered Idaho wide receiver Mark Hamper, who was on an official visit this past week, while looking at other wideout talents as well, as they hope to improve production from a group that is losing three of their top four receivers in 2025.
