The Badgers are getting in the mix early for a top quarterback in the rising junior class.
The Wisconsin Badgers handed out a big offer on Wednesday, as they extended a scholarship to 2027 four-star quarterback Peter Bourque, he announced.

Bourque, seen as a top-60 player in the rising junior class and the No. 1 recruit in the state of Massachusetts in the 2027 cycle, has picked up a few offers this week, including ones from Wisconsin, North Carolina, Old Dominion, and Wake Forest.
He’s currently up to double-digit offers, which include ones from Penn State, Kentucky, Syracuse, and Maryland alongside his Wisconsin offer.
Standing 6’4, 190 pounds, and attending the Tabor Academy, Bourque was most recently on a Junior Day visit to Penn State, and now tabs another Big Ten offer to his list.
New Badgers quarterbacks coach Kenny Guiton has been busy on the recruiting trail, with Bourque being his second 2027 quarterback offered alongside four-star Illinois recruit Trae Taylor.
Wisconsin has now offered five quarterbacks in the class: Top-20 recruit Colton Nussmeier, Bourque, four-star Trent Seaborn, Taylor, and Georgia quarterback Teddy Jarrard.
While their recruiting efforts for the 2026 class are still ongoing after the program parted ways with three-star Jarin Mock, it seems the Badgers are getting ahead with the 2027 class as well, offering a top recruit in the cycle on Wednesday.
