The Badgers are looking to get a bigger-framed receiver into their next recruiting class.
The Wisconsin Badgers made the top six for 2026 three-star wide receiver Owen Cabell on Friday, as he narrowed his list of final schools ahead of official visits.

Cabell, a 6’3, 205-pound wide receiver from Nashville, Tennessee, has some major suitors as the Georgia Bulldogs, Tennessee Volunteers, Indiana Hoosiers, Illinois Fighting Illini, and Vanderbilt Commodores round out his top five.
In addition to naming Wisconsin inside his top six, Cabell set his official visit with the Badgers for June 6th, which is his lone set visit for the summer at the moment.
Cabell most recently visited Wisconsin on its Junior Day, and the Badgers seem like a top suitor for the wideout in his recruitment.
The Badgers are in need of receivers in their 2026 class after landing just one in their last cycle, and Cabell is a bigger-bodied receiver that Wisconsin has coveted on the boundary.
Wisconsin has slowly started to round out its official visit list for its first two weekends, where they’ve historically brought their biggest targets, so Cabell is a clear priority for the staff here in this upcoming cycle at wide receiver.
