The Badgers have secured another official visit with a defensive back ahead of a busy month.
The Wisconsin Badgers have locked in an official visit with 2025 three-star Maryland cornerback Jayden Shipps, he announced on Sunday.

Shipps, a 6’1, 180-pound cornerback, is expected to take four official visits: Maryland, NC State, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The Badgers offered Shipps back in January and have remained in good contact, leading to the official visit for the Maryland defensive back.
While it may be tough to sway Shipps off the hometown draw of Maryland, it’s another good sign for the Badgers ahead of official visit season as they compile a number of visits for defensive backs in the 2025 class.
Wisconsin has already landed commitments from athletes Jaimier Scott, Remington Moss, Grant Dean, and Luke Emmerich, with a majority of them expected to play in the secondary.
They’ve also set up official visits with targets Mason Alexander, Rukeem Stroud, Jojo Scott, Charles Bell, and now Shipps.
Alexander and Stroud are set to visit the first weekend, while Scott is visiting the weekend of June 7th.
Wisconsin has done well in the last two classes, landing six defensive backs in 2023 and four in 2024. Now, they’ll look to do the same and end up with a strong 2025 class, which Shipps could be a part of.
