The Badgers are revamping their front with some new bodies.
The Wisconsin Badgers landed a commitment from Louisville Cardinals transfer edge rusher Mason Reiger over the weekend, he announced.

Reiger, a 6’4, 250-pound outside linebacker, missed the entire 2024 season due to injury, but had 22 tackles, 22 pressures, five sacks, and a forced fumble as a junior in 2023.
The rising senior had official visits set to both Wisconsin and Georgia Tech, but committed quickly after arriving to campus, closing off his recruitment.
He now adds to an outside linebacker room that will lose both Leon Lowery and John Pius, who were brought in as transfers last offseason and underperformed.
The Badgers could incorporate a bigger defensive look to better defend the run, which means they’ll need a number of big bodies up front.
Reiger should add to that, joining a room that has key returners Darryl Peterson and Aaron Witt, as well as younger options such as Sebastian Cheeks and Thomas Heiberger to fill out the room.
Wisconsin is still active in the transfer portal, as they’re looking to add at a number of positions across the board, but this is a good pickup to kick things off for the Badgers this offseason.
